Survey: How Comfortable Are Young People Expressing Emotions? 

Have you ever pretended that everything was fine when it wasn't? Or felt lonely even while surrounded by other people?

As part of my research, I created a survey exploring how young people express their emotions and whether experiences differ across cultures. The survey compares responses from Japanese and international participants and looks at topics such as emotional openness, asking for help, loneliness, social support, and the influence of social media.

The survey is anonymous and takes only a few minutes to complete. By participating, you will help provide insight into how young people communicate their feelings and how culture may shape emotional expression.

  Emotional Expression Survey Analysis My research topic: Emotional Expression Among Young People Target: Japanese and International Young Adults Number of respondents:  55 Participant breakdown: Japanese participants: 26 International participants: 29 Female participants: 32 Male participants: 23 Summary Participants answered questions about emotional expression, social support, loneliness, asking for help, and the influence of culture and social media. The goal of the survey was to explore how comfortable young people are with expressing their emotions and whether there are differences between Japanese and international participants.
